Experience the freedom of running with the Ekiden Running Shorts. Designed for a distraction-free stride, the shorts have a close-fitting design and come with a bonded elastic waistband that includes a bold draw cord for a secure feel.
Part of the Ekiden collection, the running shorts celebrate one of Japan's most iconic races. The 'Ekiden' pays tribute to the legendary relay race that starts in Tokyo, passes by Mount Fuji, crosses Hakonen and concludes in the central Nihonbashi district. The collection combines a streamlined silhouette, trendy colour blocking and vibrant graphics.
Utilising AEROREADY technology, the adidas Ekiden Running Shorts help you to remain dry and comfortable. AEROREADY is moisture-wicking, meaning a build-up of sweat and moisture is prevented, therefore keeping you dry and comfortable throughout. Additionally, intolerable build-up of warm air is allowed to escape and then be replaced by cool, fresh air to minimise any discomfort from overheating. The slim-fitting design hugs your figure and won't get in the way of your stride while the extra short length and 4-way stretch construction allows for a full range of movement. The bonded elastic waistband includes a bold drawcord that sits comfortably against the skin and provides a secure fit, while inner back pockets offer convenient storage for your small essentials when on the move. Lastly, a reflective logo helps to improve visibility on those low-light runs.
