adidas Adizero Adios 8 Running Shoes

Chase your next PB in these adidas Adizero running shoes. The new breathable lightweight mesh upper rides on a mix of superlight LIGHTSTRIKE 2.0 and resilient LIGHTSTRIKE PRO. The hybrid makes these shoes fast enough for race day while being able to stand up to everyday training.

Lightweight Mesh Upper

The upper of the Adizero Adios 8 provides you with exceptional lightweight breathability. The Adizero Adios 8s allow air to easily enter and exit the shoes, providing a constant flow of cool air, and ensuring your feet are well-ventilated no matter how tough your training is. As you begin to sweat, the moisture can escape out of the shoe, keeping your feet feeling fresh and dry. The construction is extremely lightweight, which will keep the overall weight of the shoe down to a minimum, helping you to push yourself further and pick up those new PBs. The mesh will also hug the feet to lock them in place for a more efficient ride. Around the toes and the side of the shoes, adidas have added overlays to provide you with additional protection from heavy forces and impact. Finishing the upper is a traditional lacing system that provides a comfortable and secure fit that reduces in-shoe slippage letting you run with no distractions.

Made with a series of recycled materials, this upper features at least 50% recycled content. This product represents just one of adidas' solutions to help end plastic waste.

Lightstrike Cushioning Midsole

Created to provide comfort and speed from the moment you put them on till the moment you take them off, the adidas Adizero Adios 8 Running Shoes have been constructed using a combination of Lightstrike 2.0 and Lightstrike Pro cushioning. Lightstrike cushioning spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces while propelling you forward to provide you with explosive movement and enduring speed. The light and springy ride supports your feet through the gait cycle whilst remaining as lightweight as possible to ensure you can reach new PBs. The Adios 8 features the all-new TORSIONRODS 2.0 system. The updated system includes an additional rod through the midfoot that provides a stiffness that increases force transfer in each stride, combined with the Lightstrike cushioning resulting in a midsole that has a flexible feel and is supportive in key areas.

Continental Rubber Outsole

Developed using a Continental Rubber outsole, the Adizero Adios 8 Running Shoes ensure extraordinary traction in wet and dry conditions. Inspired by tyre technology, Continental Rubber supplies traction on wet and dry surfaces, giving you no excuse not to run. The outsole is designed to be incredibly durable, leaving you with a resilient, cushioned and grippy running shoe.
