Engineered Mesh Upper

Engulfing your feet in a comfortable, breathable layer, the shoes utilise an engineered mesh upper, to ensure that you remain comfortable and cosy throughout your running adventures. This protective upper has strategically placed perforations to ensure a constant layer of fresh air travels through the shoes, to provide you with a fresh, cool, wearing experience. Not only this, but the uppers have a flexible construction, encasing your feet and allowing you to move flexibly and freely, for comfortable movement, and targeted support in areas where you need it most. Additionally, the shoes have a textile lining throughout the upper to help increase comfort and sit comfortably against the skin, to reduce the risks of chafing and irritation from ruining your run. Providing you with a secure, comfortable fit, the shoes have a soft, cushioned tongue and collar to reduce rubbing and prevent irritation, whilst working alongside the traditional lacing system, works to keep your foot secure, to prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring, and keep feet secure during your run.

Lightstrike Pro Midsole

To provide outstanding comfort and lightweight cushioning, the Adizero SL 2 utilises adidas' signature Lightstrike Pro midsole compound, to keep feet extremely cosy and comfy. The full-length Lightstrike Pro compound provides you with outstanding propulsion for bouncy, explosive strides and a great level of rebound. The midsole works to push you forward during each stride and provides great impact absorption when striking down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. This resilient foam is extremely lightweight and helps to reduce fatigue in the legs when training, and also reduces the risks of injury or discomfort, for an enjoyable stride and an outstanding running experience. This light and springy ride supports your feet through the gait cycle whilst remaining as lightweight as possible to ensure you can reach new PBs.

Durable Rubber Outsole

A durable rubber outsole adorns the outsole of the Adizero SL 2, working to provide great grip and excellent reliability when taking strides, for a stable, sturdy ride when traversing changing surfaces and providing you with a long-lasting reliable outsole, that you can trust for the long-haul. Flex grooves on the outsole help to provide a larger surface of grip and traction, whilst also allowing the feet to flex naturally, for comfortable movement of your foot, and a more natural stride.

This product features at least 20% recycled materials. By reusing materials that have already been created, adidas help to reduce waste and their reliance on finite resources and reduce the footprint of the products that they make.
