adidas Adizero Javelin Throwing Spikes

Add metres to your throw in the Adizero Javelin Spikes from adidas. In a mid-cut design, the spikes provide ankle support for confident planting, whilst two hook-and-loop straps lock down your foot, for a secure fit and maximum acceleration on your approach. The full-length spike plate delivers optimum grip as you let it fly.

Synthetic Upper

Providing comfort, keeping you focused on your technique, and providing optimum breathability, the spikes have a synthetic upper. The durable, lightweight construction keeps feet protected, supplying constant airflow to keep them fresh, cool and comfortable when competing. Additionally, a textile lining sits comfortably against your foot, helping to prevent irritations or abrasions from occurring, and keeping you focused on your throw. Finally, the shoes feature a traditional lace closure with two hook-and-loop lockdown straps to provide a secure fit, preventing in-shoe slipping, so you're prepared for competition.

EVA Midsole

An EVA midsole features in the spikes to provide lightweight, responsive, cushioning and support, making these shoes ideal for either training or competing. The EVA foam reduces the impact on your feet during your throw and promotes supportive planting. The midsole has been wrapped with a rubber guard to enhance durability and protect the shoes against drag.

11-Spike Pin Outsole

Providing grip and traction on the track below, the spikes have a synthetic outsole alongside a full-length spike plate, to promote energetic strides and provide a stable base for your next throw. Adorning the plate is an 11-spike pin configuration with a sharkskin grip designed to work together to provide durability and traction underfoot.
