adidas Adizero Adios 9 Women's Running Shoes
There are 13.1 miles between you and the finish line. Get there in record time in these adidas running shoes. Light, fast and powered by a full-length Lightstrike Pro midsole, they're ready for training runs or race day. A small stiffening element in the midsole supports fast transitions, and a stretch mesh upper enhances comfort.
Stretch-Woven Mesh Upper
The upper of the Adios 9 is crafted from a highly breathable stretch-woven mesh to keep feet cool as you rack up the miles. It allows built-up heat and vapour to escape whilst fresh air can flow in for a pleasant cooling sensation. A traditional lacing system allows you to secure the shoe for a locked-in fit that inspires confidence on the course. A textile lining delivers additional comfort, swathing your foot in step-in softness.
Lightstrike Pro Midsole
Lightstrike Pro cushioning spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces while propelling you forward to provide you with explosive movement and enduring speed. The light and springy ride supports your feet through the gait cycle whilst remaining as lightweight as possible to ensure you can reach new PBs. A stiffening element integrated into the midsole supports fast transitions and allows you to utilise the energy from your last step to spring you into your next one.
Rubber Outsole with Continental Rubber Toe-Off
The outsole of the Adios 9 is made from a durable rubber, forming a sticky bond with the ground below. It delivers excellent grip for dynamic movement, allowing you to propel yourself confidently with speed. Inspired by tyre technology, Continental Rubber supplies traction on wet and dry surfaces, giving you no excuse not to run. In this latest edition, the Continental has been reduced to just the toe-off area to minimise weight whilst still delivering optimal grip where it counts, helping you with fast, confident strides.
