From the trailhead to the alpine ridge, these walking shoes keep you moving in comfort. A LIGHTMOTION EVA midsole gives them a fast and light feel while providing support and cushioning on rugged terrain. A durable ripstop upper with added overlays stands up to rough and rocky trails, while the lugged Continental Rubber outsole grips in all conditions so you can explore with confidence.
The upper of the Skychaser AX5 is crafted from a highly breathable, abrasion-resistant stretch mesh that swathes the foot in ventilated comfort. It moves with your foot for greater proprioception and comfort. It is ultra durable with ripstop sections and overlays to ensure long-lasting use and enjoyment. A traditional lacing system helps you lock in the fit for greater confidence and control, and a gusseted tongue works to avoid water and mud intake.
The midsole is constructed from LIGHTMOTION foam, which provides responsive cushioning and propulsion, helping you to get the most out of your adventure. As you strike down, the foam attenuates shock to protect your joints and transforms that energy into rebound, providing a light, springy feel underfoot. This helps you journey further, faster, using less energy. Working alongside this, an OrthoLite sockliner provides unparalleled support and anti-microbial protection, helping to keep feet ache-free and fresh.
The outsole of the Terrex Skychaser AX5 is made with Continental rubber to deliver supreme grip and traction. It forms a solid, sticky bond with the ground underneath for maximum adhesion, and the multi-directional lugs bite into the earth for excellent traction on soft surfaces. The rubber itself is highly durable, resisting damage for long-lasting use.
