Mesh And Synthetic Leather Upper

The upper of the Ligra 8 are constructed from mesh and synthetic leather. The mesh allows air to flow through the upper providing a constant supply of fresh air. The mesh simultaneously removes built-up heat in the uppers during high intensity, leaving feet feeling cool and comfortable throughout matches or training. In addition, synthetic leather overlays wrap around the shoe to enhance structural integrity whilst increasing the durability around the forefoot. Adituff around the toes improve durability and protects your feet from knocks and scrapes when on the court, whilst working with the lacing system to provide a snug fit, preventing any in-shoe slipping from occurring during activity.

EVA Midsole

An EVA midsole compound is used in the midsole to provide amazing cushioning and rebound properties. The EVA absorbs the shock and impact forces during the heel strike phase of the gait cycle and harnesses the energy created. From there the harnessed energy is transferred to the forefoot area of the shoes and is then used to propel you to the next step.

Adiwear Outsole

The outsole of the Ligra 8 is constructed from a blown Adiwear Rubber. Adiwear has the main role in preventing wear and tear and is a unique compound that is added in high-wear areas of the outsole where players need it the most allowing you to play for longer. The outsole provides excellent grip on indoor surfaces, making this shoe a must-have, especially when new to indoor courts. The outsole is also non-marking making it perfect for all indoor use as some venues don't allow players to wear standard outsole court shoes.

This product features at least 20% recycled materials. By reusing materials that have already been created, adidas help to reduce waste and their reliance on finite resources and reduce the footprint of the products they make.
