adidas Hockeystar Men's Field Hockey Shoes
New to field hockey? Lace up these adidas shoes to boost every aspect of your game. The durable synthetic upper features overlays for extra support when you change direction, and padding around the heel for enhanced lockdown. The lug rubber outsole grips the pitch to keep you stable and focused on improving.
Textile and Synthetic Upper
The upper of the Hockeystar has been constructed from textile and synthetic materials. The textile fabric allows air to flow through the upper, providing a constant supply of fresh air, whilst simultaneously removing built-up heat during high-intensity, leaving feet feeling cool and comfortable throughout matches or training. In addition, synthetic overlays wrap around the shoe to enhance structural integrity whilst increasing the durability around the forefoot. A textile lining sits softly against the foot for increased comfort, while the padded heel sits securely around for a locked-in and stable fit. A traditional lacing system which locks the midfoot for a secure fit and prevents in-shoe slippage.
EVA Midsole
A full-length platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable during high-intensity sessions. EVA is extremely firm and absorbs shocks instantly and effectively, preventing damage to the sole. The energy produced from this will also be returned as a rebound, providing an added spring to your step, so you can run across the pitch with ease.
Lug Rubber Outsole
Completing the Hockeystar is a lug rubber outsole, which supplies you with support and stability during the game. The outsole features studs for maximum grip on turf to keep you stable on the pitch and a rearfoot stabiliser provides stability where you need it .
