adidas Terrex Freehiker SL GORE-TEX Men's Walking Shoes

The Terrex Freehiker SL GORE-TEX Hiking Shoes are your gateway to adventure. Whether you're exploring rugged trails or strolling through the city, these shoes help you do it in style and comfort.

Ripstop Upper with GORE-TEX Membrane

The upper of the adidas Terrex Freehiker SL has been constructed using a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane to keep your feet dry and protected as you take on the trail. GORE-TEX works tirelessly to shed water, whilst retaining breathable properties to improve comfort and airflow. GORE-TEX uses a thin membrane with microscopic pores that are large enough for water vapour (sweat) to escape but too small for liquid water droplets to pass through, keeping feet dry inside and out. The shoe's outer material is made from a lightweight ripstop textile that encases each foot in breathable comfort. This increases ventilation, eradicating the build-up of sweat, which is unavoidable during exercise. Sweat and moisture are wicked away from the feet, leaving you feeling fresh and ready to clock up the miles in extreme comfort. Increasing protection from bumps and knocks, adidas has included abrasion-resistant overlays. The shoes include a speed lacing system that ensures your feet are locked in and secure, preventing in-shoe slipping while making it faster to tie your laces and continue on your adventure.

Dreamstrike Midsole

Featuring a full-length Dreamstrike midsole, the Terrex Freehiker SL is lightweight and durable, perfect for those long days on the trail. This EVA foam has been tuned to offer comfort and support throughout your adventure. The plush, responsive cushioning will spare your joints as you tackle those hard, tricky trails, keeping you comfortable mile after mile.

Continental Rubber Outsole

The Continental Rubber outsole completes the shoes. This offers maximum traction on various surfaces. The highly durable compound allows you to grip the ground beneath in both wet and dry conditions, reducing the chance of slipping. Delivering optimal traction on varied surfaces, the Continental outsole uses the ideal combination of specialised rubbers and design. A strong lug pattern using TRAXION rubber works equally well on both hard and smooth or soft and loose surfaces to ensure optimum, multi-surface grip.
