adidas Terrex Ax4R RAIN.RDY Junior Hiking Shoes

Kids are always up for adventure. Make sure they're ready to tackle the trails and explore the park with these adidas Terrex hiking shoes. Built to balance protection, comfort and grip, they are the versatile outdoor shoes kids can wear to explore near and far. A cushioned midsole keeps fast-moving feet feeling good all day, and the grippy Traxion outsole gives them confident footing as they scramble over loose rocks and dirt.

Textile Upper with RAIN.RDY Membrane

Utilising a textile upper, the Terrex Ax4R RAIN.RDY provide a lightweight and breathable feel for the wearer. Perforations within the material allow air to flow in and around the shoe, providing space for warm air to be released and keeping feet feeling fresh and dry. adidas has used RAIN.RDY technology to weatherproof the hike ahead, effectively shielding from rain and mud for prolonged periods of time. A textile lining is situated within the upper material to provide comfort and minimise the possibility of irritation from rubbing, while synthetic overlays sit atop the upper to protect feet from potential bumps and snags. Also featuring a cushioned tongue and collar, the Terrex Ax4R shoes provide a snug fit against the ankle whilst blocking dirt and debris from entering. A traditional lacing system has also been included to effectively lock down the midfoot securely to minimise in-shoe slippage for all users. To complete the upper is a heel tab to allow wearers to easily slip shoes on before lacing up for the adventure ahead.

EVA Midsole

Designed to feel lightweight and comfortable underfoot, the full-length EVA foam midsole provides joints and legs with protection against hard surfaces. The foam efficiently soaks up impact as it compresses, before releasing within the next step, allowing for energy to be returned. EVA is a firm foam with high durability, meaning the cushioned and protective feeling underfoot will last over uneven ground. The midsole ensures your little ones are ready for the unpredictable trails and tough terrain ahead.

Traxion Outsole

Offering a hardwearing, optimal grip, the outsole is designed to keep the wearer stable on their feet through tough terrain. Providing grip over a variety of surfaces, whether that is rain-slicked rocks or slippery mud, confidence in every step is kept high. Long-lasting durability is ensured with this high-quality rubber outsole.
