adidas Terrex Agravic Speed 2 Women's Trail Running Shoes

Step into the world of trail running with the Terrex Agravic Speed 2, where agility meets innovation. These shoes are crafted for those who seek speed and performance on varied terrain, boasting a dual-layer midsole of Lightstrike Pro and Lightstrike for unmatched responsiveness and lightweight cushioning.

Mono Mesh Upper

Providing a close and supportive fit that is highly breathable, the Agravic Speed 2 features a mono mesh upper. This foot-hugging upper construction supports your every stride, providing a personal feel like the shoe was made for you, with great support and improved heel comfort. The upper encourages cool air to circulate while simultaneously releasing built-up heat, reducing the temperature inside the shoe, keeping you comfortable even when the run heats up. These already durable shoes are enhanced by TPU overlays for increased protection and durability. The overlays protect your toes from knocks and scrapes while protecting the shoes from damage, increasing the shoes' lifespan. Not only this, but they also add structure to the shoe and increase overall stability. A textile lining increases next-to-skin comfort, perfect for those long days on the trail. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system to keep your foot locked in and secure, preventing in-shoe slippage from occurring.

Lightstrike and Lightstrike Pro Midsole

The midsole uses a combination of Lightstrike and updated, softer Lightstrike Pro, making the shoes ultra-lightweight and responsive, delivering cushioning and propulsive rebound. The Lightstrike Pro propels you forward, providing explosive movement, enduring speed and endless energy return from heel strike through to the toe-off phase of the gait cycle. When your heel hits the floor, the midsole compresses and stores kinetic energy. As you transition through mid-stance, the midsole relaxes and releases the stored energy, propelling you forward with an explosive take-off. This means you can run further using less energy, helping you to get the most out of your adventures in the wilderness. The combination spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces, helping you run further without aches and pain. It also increases stability, helping you remain in control as you fly over the trail. The midsole also has a lower profile than the previous version, allowing for a closer to the ground, more agile ride. A moulded sockliner has been added for enhanced comfort and fit, keeping you comfortable as you put the miles in.

Continental Rubber Outsole

An updated Continental Rubber Outsole completes the adidas Terrex Agravic Speed 2 by providing extraordinary grip and better traction over rugged or wet terrain. The outsole uses 3mm and 4mm multi-directional lugs, longer than the previous iteration, to dig into the ground to provide you with great grip and stability, giving you the confidence to take on any anything the trail throws at you.
