Synthetic and Textile Upper
Providing a comfortable fit, the Adizero Evo SLs have been designed to supply an enjoyable fit. The material shows to be malleable to allow the natural flex of the foot, but also durable to ensure longevity in your wear, keeping you racking up miles. As things heat up, with strategically positioned perforations within the mesh, adidas have certified ultimate breathability to allow for hot air to escape as the foot bends. An added textile lining, provides added comfort to the upper section, reducing irritation as you keep pace. Alongside this, the flat-laying tongue and padded collar provide a secure fit that is further complimented by the traditional lacing system, that locks down the midfoot to minimise friction.
Lightstrike Pro Midsole
With their signature Lightstrike Pro technology, adidas focus on providing high energy return from heel strike on through to toe-off. Providing high cushioning on the initial contact on hard surfaces, the midsole compresses as kinetic energy builds; as you transition through midstance, the midsole relaxes in turn releasing that built up energy, propelling you forward. The highly plush foam, provides protection from the ground due to its high shock absorbing properties, allowing you to strike down hard on unforgiving surfaces whilst protecting your joints in the long run. The light and springy ride supports your feet through the gait cycle whilst remaining as lightweight as possible to ensure you can reach new PBs.
Durable Rubber Outsole
Offering excellent grip on a variety of surfaces, adidas have focused on optimising traction with a lightweight feel by combining both a Continental rubber on the forefoot, and clear rubber on the heel for smooth transition through the gait cycle. The Continental rubber is highly durable and grippy on both dry and rain-slicked surfaces, focused on the forefoot for strong toe-offs. While the lighter weight clear rubber provides great traction but optimises agility to keep you motivated on moving forwards.
