adidas Adizero EVO SL Woven Women's Running Shoes

When speed meets innovation, you get the Adizero EVO SL. Inspired by the record-breaking EVO 1, the shoes are built for runners who value versatility and performance in their gear. The super-light running shoes use Lightstrike Pro midsole for optimal responsiveness to keep you training for your marathon or PB chaser.

Breathable Woven Upper

An update on the Adizero EVO SL, the woven iteration of this icon, provides you with optimum breathability, protection and comfort on future runs and races. With a unique design, the woven fabric features small perforations that supply feet with a constant level of cool, fresh air, which travels through the shoes and to your feet, preventing them from overheating under pressure. This lightweight structure works with a breathable lining to help stop the risks of irritation or chafing, and with quick-drying capabilities, it reduces the growth of sweat or moisture. Combined with a reinforced toe box, the shoes are super durable, protecting the shoes from becoming damaged during knocks, bumps and scrapes, as well as protecting feet from discomfort. The regular-fitting upper provides ample space for the feet to sit comfortably and allows more flexible foot movement. Completing the upper, a comfortable gusseted tongue stops it from slipping around during movement, and works with the lacing system to ensure an adjustable fit and secure the midfoot for confident strides.

Lightstrike Pro Midsole

adidas' signature Lightstrike Pro technology has been embedded into the Adizero Evo SL, making it even lighter than before. This comfortable and super lightweight foam offers resilient cushioning, designed to limit energy loss. As your foot strikes down on hard surfaces, the foam works to effectively absorb the impact underfoot within stride, before providing a huge bounce-back effect of kinetic energy that helps propel you forward as you leap into your next step. This also helps protect your joints from injury as shock is soaked up by this premium foam. The light and springy ride supports your feet through the gait cycle whilst remaining as lightweight as possible to ensure you can reach new PBs.

Durable and Continental Rubber Outsole

Manufactured from durable rubber, the outsole completes the Adizero Evo SL with a superior grip and a smooth transition through the gait cycle. With Continental rubber on the forefoot of the Evo SL, you can expect supreme grip and traction over both dry and rain-slicked surfaces. Continental rubber also proves great for strong toe-offs, making sure no moment is missed. The remaining part of the outsole is made up of durable rubber, helping to keep the shoe lightweight while still offering great traction and support underfoot.
