adidas Terrex Tracefinder 2 Women's Trail Running Shoes

Ready, set and explore. Whether you prefer to run or walk, these adidas Terrex trail running shoes support your effort with a balance of cushioned comfort and breathability. Lightmotion midsole cushioning offers step-in comfort and support through varied terrain.

Breathable Mesh Upper

Engineered with a breathable mesh upper, the Tracefinder 2 offers you optimised comfort and a cool wearing experience. Thanks to the strategic perforations around the feet, the uppers provide a constant supply of airflow that travels through the shoes to keep your feet feeling cool and fresh, even during the more intense periods of your exercise. At the same time, a textile lining sits comfortably against your foot to prevent the risk of irritation or chafing, reducing distraction on long trail adventures. Synthetic overlays feature in high-wear areas to provide added support and extra protection from knocks and scrapes on the trail. A padded collar and tongue provide soft next-to-skin comfort, while a traditional lacing system helps keep feet locked in and secure, preventing in-shoe slipping.

Lightmotion Midsole

adidas takes cushioning to new heights with the responsive Lightmotion midsole. The midsole absorbs energy and then expels it back out for optimal cushioning. This midsole technology reduces the use of superfluous muscle power, diminishing fatigue and enhancing performance, keeping you going for longer. The plush, responsive cushioning will spare your joints as you sprint onto hard, unforgiving concrete. An Ortholite sockliner doubles down on this plush underfoot cushioning comfort, helping to provide a floating feeling.

Traxion Outsole

Completing the Tracefinder 2 is a Traxion Outsole, which provides ultra-grippy, sturdy traction across constantly changing terrains and multiple surfaces. This durable rubber is long-lasting and reliable, providing shoes that guide you through every rocky trail adventure. Adorning the outsole are grippy lugs to ensure traction across wet and dry surfaces and dig deep into the muddy ground, providing greater control on your next trail run.
