Innovative, new Lighttraxion outsole technology provides grip while minimising extra weight. The engineered mesh upper offers a cool, breezy feel from start to finish. adidas recommends Supernova Prima for runners seeking enhanced comfort and extra support for their everyday runs. This is a real workhorse.
Engineered Mesh Upper
Providing a comfortable layer of protection, the Supernova Prima has a lightweight mesh upper construction. The mesh fabrics ensure that the shoes have a sock-like fit, providing your feet with exceptional airflow to keep feet cool, whilst still ensuring feet are comfortable and encased. The shoes provide a flexible feel with support in key areas and perforation to provide a constant supply of fresh air for your feet to thrive. A textile lining has also been used on the upper to increase comfort, the lining sits comfortably against the skin and reduces the risks of chafing and irritation. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that secures the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
Dreamstrike+ Midsole
Featuring adidas' new Dreamstrike+ technology, the midsole of the Supernova Prima is lightweight and durable, perfect for everyday running. This new power foam has been tuned to offer comfort and support throughout your run. The plush, responsive cushioning will spare your joints as you sprint down onto hard, unforgiving concrete, keeping you comfortable mile after mile. Paired with Support Rods, the adidas Supernova Prima helps to ensure an optimal level of support and smooth transitions.
Lighttraxion Outsole
Providing you with lightweight grip and traction on various terrains and surfaces, the shoes have a grippy Lighttraxion outsole, which adds stability to your run. The rubber compound offers an optimal balance of amazing abrasion resistance, traction and flexibility to create ultimate high-wear durability. Not only this but it works alongside the midsole to ensure a cushioned, comfortable and grippy pair of shoes that you can rely on for the long run. This full-length outsole provides grip without adding weight, keeping you free to move.
