adidas Terrex Freehiker 2 GORE-TEX Climawarm+ Men's Walking Boots

Escape the noise of daily life in the Terrex Freehiker 2 GTX Climawarm+. They have a stretchy ripstop upper covered in an innovative, gaiter-style construction that seals out snow and ice. Using advanced insulation materials, adidas Climawarm+ footwear is designed to keep you feeling warm on cold days. GORE-TEX, meanwhile, optimises breathability and helps your feet stay dry.

Stretchy Ripstop Upper

Crafted with highly durable materials, the upper of the Freehiker 2 ensures your performance is long-lasting and protected from the harsh elements. The stretchy ripstop material is abrasion-resistant to avoid damage from possible snags and bumps along the way, expertly handling any challenges thrown your way. The upper features a GORE-TEX membrane that prevents water from entering the shoe, keeping your feet dry and warm for long periods of time. For an added layer of comfort, the CLIMAWARM+ layer helps to keep the cold out and the warmth in, allowing you to stay focused on treacherous paths ahead, while a textile lining enhances breathability and comfort. A zip and speed lacing closure ensures your feet are locked in and secure to the boots, preventing in-boot slipping and helping you remain comfortable on every adventure.

BOOST Midsole

Developed to provide lightweight cushioning, the midsole has been constructed using adidas' signature BOOST cushioning. adidas takes cushioning to new heights with their ultra-responsive midsole - BOOST. Tiny TPU capsules are moulded together to form a platform that is different to standard, solid foams, absorbing energy and then expelling it back out for a bounce-like effect. This energy return technology reduces the use of superfluous muscle power, diminishing fatigue and enhancing performance, keeping you going for longer. The plush, responsive cushioning will spare your joints as you power down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. BOOST also manages to maintain its special function and bounce in conditions as low as -20 degrees, making it a reliable, durable and hard-to-beat midsole. Additionally, an EVA stabilisation frame further ensures stability and midfoot support, so you can tackle rough terrain, whilst feeling energised with every step.

Continental Rubber Outsole

The Continental Rubber compound offers maximum traction on a variety of different surfaces. The highly durable compound allows you to grip the ground in both wet and dry conditions to reduce the chance of slipping. Delivering optimal traction on varied surfaces, the Continental outsole uses the ideal combination of specialised rubbers and design. Multi-directional lugs work equally well on both hard and smooth or soft and loose surfaces to ensure optimum, multi-surface grip.
