AfterShokz Aeropex Wireless Bone Conduction Sports Headphones

Packed with innovative features and the latest in bone conduction technology, the Aftershokz Aeropex will guarantee that you will always be able to enjoy the highest quality of audio and comfort no matter how intense your activity is.

Aftershokz have designed the Aeropex to be the lightest and most organically designed open ear headphone to date. Weighing 13% less than the previous 'Air' open ear headphones at just 26 grams, this will allow the headphones to gently sit around your head, providing fewer distractions to irritate or hinder your progress during runs and training. AfterShokz Aeropex open ear wireless headphones combine the convenience, reliability and performance of Bluetooth wireless connectivity with the comfort and safety of open ear bone conduction technology to provide consumers with an entirely new way to stay connected. Unlike conventional Bluetooth headphones and earbuds that use the eardrums to transmit sound, Aftershokz Trekz Titanium headphones utilize patent pending bone conduction technology to deliver sound through the listener's cheekbones to the inner ear. This enables anyone using them to make/take phone calls and stay connected to both what they are listening to and the outside world - from warning sounds outdoors while walking, running, cycling or driving.

Aftershokz didn't invent bone conduction, but there are technological enhancements certainly push its boundaries. There patented design guides mini vibrations through your cheekbones to your inner ears, delivering stereo sound without plugging or covering them. Sound waves travel directly to the cochlea, bypassing the eardrums completely-an alternative for anyone concerned about potential hearing damage caused by traditional headphones and earbuds, and even a solution for those with certain forms of hearing loss. Using Aftershokz newly developed PremiumPitch 2.0+, this delivers a wider and more dynamic stereo sound than previous headphones. Despite having more bass and volume, less vibration is produced from the headphones, largely down to the re-angled transducers, which will improve the comfort to last all day.

The OpenFit design will maximise the round the head fit of the headphones, whilst it will also improve situational awareness over a long period of time. Connectible to your phone by Bluetooth, the headphones have a microphone which cancels surrounding noise out, enhancing speech for calls and phone commands. Instructions and actions on the headphones are prompted by the Audrey Says feature, which will guide you through power, pairing, playback and talking on the headphones. Providing you with 8 hours of continuous hours of sound, this will accompany you over the course of short and longer training sessions. The headphones has a moisture detecting alert, which will ensure safe charging. Completely sweatproof, this will remove the risk of the headphones falling out as your activity intensifies. They are also waterproof and submersible up to one metre deep over 30 minutes, which will also protect them from extreme weather conditions. The headphones have a wireless range of 10 metres, and they take 2 hours to fully charge.
