Altra Torin 9 GORE-TEX Women's Running Shoes

Tap into unique comfort and stay dry with the Torin 9 GORE-TEX. It's responsive, soft, waterproof, and performance-focused, so you can be uniquely you on your next road run. A lightweight, waterproof GORE-TEX Invisible Fit combines with a stretchy upper, designed for flexibility with every stride.

Breathable Mesh Upper

Providing enhanced breathability and comfort, the mesh upper of the Torin 9 promotes in-shoe freshness throughout your run. Perforations within the upper allow for air to circulate effectively around the foot, allowing heat to escape and making room for fresh feet. The material also protects the foot from possible snags and reduces distractions when racking up the miles. A GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane also resides in the upper, which works to keep feet dry in wet and changing weather by preventing water from entering the shoe, therefore helping to reduce the risks of wet, soggy feet. The shoes utilise Altra's Standard FootShape Fit for a roomy, natural fit, which allows toes to splay naturally during running. One of the key updates from the previous iteration includes a refined heel for a secure fit and minimal slipping while on the move, alongside elevated tongue details to enhance comfort around the foot with soft materials. Finally, a traditional lacing system locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement for a secure and stable fit.

P35X Dual Density Midsole

Built to deliver an energetic and cushioned underfoot feel, the Torin 9 midsole consists of P35X dual-density foam for a perfect balance of stability and comfort. The structure of this foam consists of firmer foam on the exterior with softer foam inside, designed to be bouncy yet solid. With a 0mm drop, the midsole of the neutral road shoe brings a refreshing, responsive new meaning to what defines a reliable running shoe. When striking down on unforgiving surfaces, shock is absorbed into the foam, dissipating direct impact and protecting your joints and feet from injury. Absorbed shock is then released within your following stride as propulsive energy, giving you needed motivational boosts to every step.

Vibram XS DURA Rubber Outsole

Exclusive to the Torin 9, a Vibram XS DURA rubber outsole has been added for dependable traction no matter the weather. Grip is ensured over different surfaces, including dry pavements and rain-slicked roads, keeping you pushing onwards no matter the conditions that are to come. Rubber has been focused on the forefoot and heel, with high-impact areas covered to increase the overall durability of the shoe for long-lasting grip on the go. The outsole's FootPod technology maps the bones and tendons in the foot to encourage more natural movement underfoot for a comfortable feeling while running.
