Altra Lone Peak 9+ Men's Trail Running Shoes

It's a legendary shoe, now with a legendary Vibram Megagrip outsole for fierce grip. Altra have turned up the traction so you can take on legendary adventures. A revised midsole foam is designed to deliver a comfortable connection to the ground. No-sew overlays and a ripstop mesh upper are made for high-mileage durability.

100% RPET Ripstop Mesh Upper

Created with a ripstop mesh upper, the Lone Peak 9+ offers more durability, keeping it protected from bumps and scrapes on the trail. This upper is also highly breathable, allowing vapour and built-up heat to escape, keeping your feet feeling cool, dry and comfortable even when your run heats up. Not only this, but the shoes have durable no-sew overlays for increased protection and high mileage. Altra's Original Footshape Fit provides room for your toes and space in the midfoot, giving a familiar Altra feel. GaiterTrap attachments allow you to add your Altra gaiters to the shoe effortlessly, ensuring added protection against mud and trail debris. Finishing the upper is a lacing system that provides a more secure fit across the forefoot, reducing in-shoe slipping, whilst heel pull tabs assist in putting the shoes on and off.

Altra EGO Midsole

Featuring updated Altra EGO midsole foam, this new iteration of the Lone Peak provides exceptional comfort and connection to the ground for a stable but flexible and well-cushioned ride. With a stack height of 25mm, the Lone Peak 9+ offers the perfect amount of cushioning and durability in the midsole for a comfortable feel on any trail. The midsole contains many areas with features that provide the shoe with extremely responsive rebound and cushioning, and sits directly underneath the foot, reducing ground impact and returning the energy as a spring for each step that you take. Thanks to Altra's Balanced Cushioning platform underfoot, the heel and the forefoot are the same distance from the ground, encouraging proper low-impact form throughout your trail run. Lastly, Stoneguard technology provides underfoot protection on the trail, over rocks, debris and tough terrain. This helps to keep feet stable, flexible and protected throughout your run.

Vibram Megagrip Outsole

Now utilising a Vibram Megagrip outsole, the Lone Peak 9+ offers unparalleled grip on both wet and dry surfaces. This high-performance rubber is expertly designed for trail runners wanting a super grippy and reliable outsole that will help them tackle trails of any distance on any terrain. Providing great durability, the outsole is built to last over long distances whilst keeping you feeling stable, confident and in control with every step, maintaining an optimal balance between stability and flexibility for ground adaptation.
