Breathable Mesh Upper

Constructed with a multi-directional mesh upper the Altra Timp 2 Trail Running Shoe delivers a snug fit with maximum breathability. The multi-directional mesh offers a sleek ride as the mesh is engineered to move and flex with you no matter where your run may take you; rocks, roots, and debris will be no match as the Timp 2 Trail will have you floating over them with ease. Cool air is encouraged to permeate the fabric to remove uncomfortable heat build creating a healthy environment that feet can thrive in. Altra's FootShape toe box encourages the toes to relax and spread naturally, whilst allowing the big toe to remain in a straight position. The FootShape toe box enhances stability during uphill climbs and downhill descents when out on challenging trails whilst creating powerful toe-offs to maximise performance. With a completely upgraded lacing system, the Timp 2 will secure an even closer and more personalised foot lockdown feel. The soft padded tongue will feel soft against the ankle, also acting as a shield to prevent dirt and debris from entering and causing discomfort. The shoe is compatible with a gaiter, which can be attached via a hoop and loop tab allowing you to tackle sand, dirt, and debris head-on.

Engineered with an EVA midsole the Timp 2 Trail delivers durable and responsive cushioning at a lightweight keeping you fast on your feet without compromising comfort. Constructed with inner flex, the grid-like groove pattern provides greater flex at a lightweight and with better protection. Ideal for the trail the multi-directional pattern creates an improved ride when navigating uneven and tricky surfaces. A fully cushioned zero drop platform places your forefoot and heel the same distance from the ground; the zero drop encourages a natural foot position and low impact landing protecting the joints and reducing fatigue.

MaxTrac Rubber Outsole

Completing the Altra Timp 2 is a MaxTrac rubber outsole. Combining sticky grip and traction with incredible durability the MaxTrac rubber outsole will have you navigating the trickiest of terrain with ease as it grips and sticks. The DuraTread rubber outsole offers durable, long-lasting grip on both tame and technical terrain allowing you to navigate with confidence every time.
