The updated Outroad is here and great for runners who seek the familiar step-in feel of a road shoe, yet with the visual cues and confidence of a trail shoe.
To supply you with exceptional levels of comfort, breathability and reliability, the Outroad 2s have a revamped upper construction from their predecessor. Although still providing you with an exceptional supply of constant airflow, the shoes keep your feet cool and comfortable, preventing an uncomfortable heat build-up and have excellent moisture-wicking for dry feet. The shoes are now even more durable than their previous version, ensuring you're supplied with total confidence in your shoes. The plush, cushioned tongue and collar ensure that irritation and abrasion are prevented, whilst maintaining a high level of comfort when training. The shoes utilise Altra's Slim FootShape Fit, their slimmest fitting option, the Outroad is designed to let your feet spread comfortably to give you the stability and the power you need to take on familiar road routes as well as, new dirt trails. With a traditional lacing system, the Outroad offers a secure and personalised foot lockdown feel.
The Outroad 2 utilise AltraEGO, a technology developed with a dual nature in the midsole, the compound within has a soft feel, yet an increased energy return, providing you with a spring in your step. The soft insole where the foot sits will guarantee long-lasting comfort, whereas the balanced cushioning platform means that the heel and the forefoot are at the same height. This construction encourages the feet to have a more natural alignment with the ground, better form and low-impact landings for comfortable strides.
The Outroad Trail Running Shoes utilise a MaxTrac outsole, providing you with sticky traction on varied trail terrain. This will allow you to stay steady, no matter the conditions, and the durable nature of the outsole will ensure outstanding durability to ensure a long-lasting, grippy pair of trail shoes you can rely on, time and time again.
