Lightweight Breathable Upper

With an ultra-light, breathable structure, the Mont Blanc Speed features a lightweight, breathable upper to keep feet feeling cool and fresh. Perforations in the materials supply feet with a constant flow of fresh air to prevent overheating and allow feet to breathe on long, fast trail adventures. The soft materials sit comfortably against your feet, preventing irritation or chafing and moving with your feet for optimum in-shoe comfort and flexible mobility. The seamless construction reduces the risks of irritation or chafing and ensures confidence when tackling tricky trails. Moisture-wicking properties prevent sweat or moisture during the more intense periods of your run, keeping your feet dry throughout. Allowing toes to sit comfortably, the shoes use Altra's Standard Footshape for natural movement. A stitch-and-turn collar and tongue construction sit comfortably against your foot and ankles, reducing irritation and working with the traditional laces, keeping feet locked in and secure, as well as preventing in-shoe slipping.

Altra EGO MAX and Altra EGO PRO Midsole

Crafted with a rim and core construction, the midsole of the Mont Blanc Speed optimises your comfort, keeping you fast on your feet. With Altra EGO MAX in the rim of the midsole, the midsole provides excellent levels of cushioning and durable comfort, whilst Altra EGO PRO foam in the core enhances your performance. This combination of foams keeps you light on your feet so you can tackle tricky terrain, whilst adding bounce to keep your feet comfortable and your strides energetic. The compound absorbs shocks when striking down on tough, unforgiving surfaces, reducing the risk of injury and discomfort. Sandwiched within the midsole is a TPU StoneGuard, which helps with underfoot protection against rocks, debris and tough terrain, protecting feet and keeping the shoes flexible yet firm and stable.

Vibram Litebase Megagrip Outsole

Featuring a Vibram Megagrip outsole alongside a Vibram Litebase compound, the Mont Blanc Speed keeps you light, comfortable and secure with the ground below. The Vibram Litebase compound is a super lightweight rubber that prevents bulk, whilst still ensuring excellent grip and durability. The Vibram Megagrip rubber also works with this to provide unparalleled grip across wet and dry surfaces, so that you can explore tricky trails with complete confidence. The outsole is durable, improving the longevity of these shoes and providing an optimal level of ground adaptability. With strategically placed flex grooves, additional traction and grip on a range of surfaces is provided, helping you stick to all trail types.
