The wrapped upper part of the shoe is made from a lightweight material. This means that the whole weight of the shoe is kept to a low, making movement feel unrestricted. It is also breathable, with a steady airflow keeping the feet ventilated for your comfort. Using ASICS' Dynamic Wrap technology, the material moulds around the midfoot for a comfortable and snug fit. Up the foot laces and a padded tongue secure the shoe to the foot an easy and comfortable process. Extra protection across the front protects the toes from bumps and knocks. The heel is also protected by reinforced sides, meaning that it is held into place, reducing the chances of injury.
Constructed using groundbreaking midsole technology, the FlyteFoam midsole is 55% lighter than industry standard midsoles. With exceptional responsiveness, the foam provides the shoe with extreme bounceback. Explosive accelerations, sharp turns, and sudden braking are assisted by the FlyteFoam Midsole. In addition, it can absorb shocks, stopping them from damaging the foot. Within the midsole, the shoe uses DuoMax, a technology developed by ASICS to work against overpronation. By keeping the feet in an upright and forward facing position, the feet are kept in a healthy and natural position. Within the shoe, there is a soft sock liner which gently cushions the bottom of the feet.
For superior grip on a wet or dry court surface, the durable rubber outsole is able to give you full control. The sole is designed in a way to help with certain movements, giving you the confidence and solid foundation for it. The rubber can stand up for itself over a long course of time, making it ultra-reliable and long-lasting. Multi-directional lugs give you additional areas of grip for traction.
