Stretch Knit Upper

The seamless construction of the complete structure of the shoe means that there is no discomfort or itches to the top of the foot. The outside membrane of the material is lightweight, breathable, and wraps gently around the foot. Easy to lace with a padded tongue, find the right fit with ease and comfort. Within the insole there is an Ortholite sockliner, which features higher rebound properties to normal sockliners. It also provides users with fantastic moisture management and a high level of breathability.

Solyte Midsole

The material used in the midsole is Asics' developed Solyte. This is half the weight of the sponges used in standard running and marathon shoes, and offers 20% more shock absorption. For further protection, there is the Rearfoot and Forefoot Gel Cushioning System. This again absorbs bumps when running on a hard surface, protecting the heel, middle and front of the foot from suffering injury. When making contact with the hard pavement a lot of forces are acting on the foot. For an even distribution of these forces, the shoe uses the Impact Guidance System. This means that when hitting the ground forces are guided in directions that will be beneficial for both propulsion and reducing certain areas of the foot from getting damaged.

AHAR+ Outsole

Using the AHAR+ outsole, the shoe has excellent grip and traction, whilst also being extremely durable and abrasion resistant. The rubber used is the same as some car tyres, mixed with a reinforcing material for added durability. The sole also uses the trustic system. The middle point on the sole is reinforced, which will stop the shoe from rolling and twisting. This particular feature makes sure that injuries from overpronation are reduced.
