SpEVA Midsole

For enhanced cushioning, the midsole is designed with SpEVA Midsole Material and SpEVA 55 Lasting. The SpEVA Midsole Material improves bounce-back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown, while the SpEVA 55 Lasting provides enhanced cushioning and comfort. Beneath this foam are the Gel units in the heel and the forefoot. They attenuate shock during impact and toe-off phases, sparing your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving concrete. Lastly, the Gel Phoenix 8 is equipped with the Duomax Support System, making it ideal for those who overpronate. This dual-density midsole system is positioned to control pronation, enhancing support and stability so that you can run with confidence.

AHAR Outsole

An AHAR+ outsole completes the Phoenix 8. Blown, abrasion resistant rubber delivers enhanced cushioning and durability. Reducing the weight of the sole unit is the Trusstic System which also retains the structural integrity of the shoes, while the deep flex grooves in the forefoot enhance flexibility.
