ASICS Gel-Trabuco 9 GORE-TEX Trail Running Shoes

The Gel-Trabuco 9 GORE-TEX shoe has been re-engineered from top to bottom to assert itself as an all-around trail pioneer. Rugged and comfortable are the two terms that best describe this trail running shoe. It's for the off-road runner seeking excellent durability, protection, and grip.

GORE-TEX Upper

Rugged mesh uppers encase each foot in durable, breathable comfort. The porous mesh is highly breathable allowing cool air to circulate, removing uncomfortable heat build-up and creating a cool, healthy environment that feet can thrive in. The enhanced ventilation of the fabric provides quick drainage when stepping in puddles and streams out on the trail to keep you fast and light and to enhance drying time to avoid uncomfortable damp feet. Constructed using GORE-TEX, the Gel-Trabuco 9 ensures you have a waterproof experience allowing you to run in complete comfort. A bootie construction provides a snug, comfortable fit that hugs the ankle to keep dirt and debris locked out. A reinforced toe overlay increases protection against bumps and grazes. A gusseted tongue repels kicked-up dirt and debris. A protective bumper covers the toes, reinforcing the Gel-Trabuco 9's trail-worthy state by defending you against roots, rocks and other general hazards.

FlyteFoam and GelMidsole

The advanced comfort comes from the FlyteFoam midsole material that's coupled with Gel technology cushioning in the heel. Equipped with a Duomax support system that creates a more stable ride, this placement of foam on the medial side of the midsole offers a firmer density that keeps the foot from rotating inward too much. Highly durable, the FlyteFoam offers an elite level of cushioning designed to be put through the paces. Its organic fibres bounce back into their original shape in the space of each stride to provide perfect cushioning from the start of your run to the finish. The dual-layered structure provides lightweight cushioning, shock absorption, and rebound all into one midsole for enhanced movement with every step. A full-length guidance line ensures your foot is guided through the gait cycle whilst improving midfoot structural integrity by reducing imbalance caused by shifts in your centre of pressure when navigating uneven terrain.

ASICS Grip Outsole

ASICS proprietary outsole rubber provides high grip on various terrain, without compromising durability. The ASICS Grip Outsole offers improved grip on a range of surfaces both wet and dry for fast confident footing. The lugged outsole pattern features ASICS GRIP rubber while incorporating an uphill and downhill lug pattern on the lateral and medial sides of the shoe to improve traction on slippery terrain. Additionally, a rock protection plate helps the outsole stay flexible and shield the foot from abrupt terrain or trail debris.
