The Gel-Venture 8 AWL (All Winter Long) Running Shoes are designed for running off-road. It shields your feet from the elements, so you can focus on the positive feeling of running in nature. This model has been updated with a more accommodating forefoot fit that feels comfortable. With durable overlays around the toe area, the shoe helps protect against roots and rocks. The re-engineered outsole under the heel helps you keep a better grip on the trail.

Water-Repellent Upper

The upper is designed to protect you during winter conditions. The water-repellent nature of the upper repels water and wet weather conditions keeping your feet feeling dry all day. Enhancing your safety during winter the upper features reflective accents helping to improve your visibility in low light conditions, ideal for the winter months when the nights draw in quicker. Provides a secure fit the upper has a toggle speed lacing system that makes the shoes easier to take on and off, so there is no wasted time messing about with laces. The reduced overlays add durability, whilst remaining lightweight. The overlay reinforcements swathe the midfoot and forefoot to improve stability. This is finished with a lacing system, which gives you a complete, lockdown, and anchors you to the midsole and reduces in-shoe slippage so that you can carry on your smooth transitions.

EVA Midsole

A platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as they strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole. The energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in their step. Embedded within this midsole platform is a Rearfoot GEL Cushioning System; implemented to attenuate shock, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces.

Trail Specific Outsole

Keeping you firmly in control on the trails, the rubber outsole can form a solid connection with a wide range of different surfaces. The rubber is also extremely durable and abrasion-resistant, which will protect itself over a long period of time, whilst maintaining its high level of performance. As well as this, re-engineered lugs in the outsole offer better traction on off-road surfaces. The aggressive, multidirectional lugs offer unprecedented traction for running up and down hills so nothing can get in the way of you giving your ultimate performance.
