<p> Constructed using an engineered mesh upper, the ASICS Contend 7 Running Shoes encase each foot in breathable comfort. The mesh allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air while simultaneously forcing out hot, muggy air. This aids moisture management by wicking sweat and excess moisture as it's produced then transfers it to the outer layers where it can be easily evaporated, keeping your feet cool, dry and comfortable at all times. The mesh upper creates a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in. As well as this, overlays work with the lacing system to lock down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can go further for longer in complete comfort. A soft heel collar sits comfortably against the skin to reduce the risks of chafing and irritation. Completing the upper is a midfoot strap that locks down the midfoot to ensure a secure fit.</p>
