ASICS GT-2000 11 Women's Running Shoes

The GT-2000 11 shoes are versatile stability shoes that are functional for various distances. The underfoot cushioning has been updated from their predecessors for a more comfortable and energetic ride.

Jacquard Mesh Upper

Providing your feet with a supportive and comfortable foothold, the uppers of the GT-2000 11's are constructed using a jacquard mesh fabrication. These materials ensure that your feet remain breathable and comfortable, by allowing fresh, cool air to travel through the shoes, therefore ensuring feet feel fresh from start to finish. The mesh upper also works to support the foot as you move to ensure you always feel locked in and comfortable. The reduction in seams reduces the risks of chafing and irritation so you can go further for longer in complete comfort. An OrthoLite X-30 sock liner provides soft step-in comfort. The upper has a traditional lacing system that locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides. Completing the look of these shoes, the GT-2000 11's have reflective details to enhance your visibility when training in low-light conditions.

At least 50% of the shoe's main upper material is made with recycled content to reduce waste and carbon emissions. Alongside this, the sockliner is produced with a solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33%, and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to conventional dyeing technology.

FF BLAST Midsole

A development on the GT-2000 10's, the GT-2000 11's have a FlyteFoam BLAST technology through the midsole, which enhances underfoot cushioning for comfort and soft landing. This not only supplies your feet with plush cushioning but, will also provide you with lightweight and responsive strides. The FF BLAST compound is 55% lighter than industry standard EVA midsole material and has been made with reinforced fibres that bounce back for optimal cushioning with every step. Embedded within the midsole is a Rearfoot GEL cushioning system, which helps to attenuate shock during footstrike, sparing your joints as you land onto hard, unforgiving surfaces, and promoting a smooth transition through the gait cycle. ASICS contrast their cushioning with LITETRUSS technology. Implemented on the medial side, it helps to control pronation and enhances stability and support without sacrificing lightweight or comfort.

AHAR+ Outsole

To supply you with durable underfoot traction, the shoes have an AHARPLUS heel plug, and ASICS Lite rubber compound. The AHAR+ compounds will help to improve the durability of the shoes, whilst also ensuring you have a grip on a variety of surfaces. The ASICS LITE rubber is lightweight and stronger than standard outsole rubber, due to the bio-based cellulose nanofibre. Flex grooves also adorn the outsole to provide added traction and allow for natural foot flexion providing an easy, unhindered pace. The flex grooves work with the rubber outsole to provide an abundance of underfoot traction.
