ASICS GT-1000 11 PS Junior Running Shoes

The 11th PS (Pre-School) version of the Junior GT-1000 is designed to keep feet energised when in motion, and have a kid's specific fit to create a more accommodating fit for growing feet.

Breathable Mesh Upper

The upper has been reimagined with a new engineered mesh that adjusts to your foot's natural shape while providing a comfortable midfoot hold. Constructed using a breathable mesh, the ASICS GT-1000 11 Running Shoes encase each foot in comfort. The mesh allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air while simultaneously forcing out hot, muggy air. The mesh upper creates a perfect microclimate for your child's feet to thrive in. Overlays have been used on the upper to increase structure and support. The overlays have been placed around the midfoot and the toe for long-lasting comfort and guide. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage for a distraction-free fit, alongside this, is a velcro strap that also makes it easy for little ones to take the shoes on and off.

EVA Midsole

The midsole of the ASICS GT-1000 11 Junior Running Shoes features comfortable, flexible and durable EVA. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your little one's joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on longer distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole. Embedded within this pillowy platform, and complimenting its bouncy nature, is the GEL Cushioning System. It works to reduce shock during the impact phase and promotes a peaceful transition to midstance.

Solid Rubber Outsole

This style includes a solid rubber outsole, combined with a medial wrap-up, for enhancing the durability of the shoes. The rubber outsole can form a solid bond with the ground beneath it to ensure traction and grip on road surfaces. As well as this, the rubber outsole is highly durable to ensure long-lasting wear. The durable nature of the rubber will not wear down easily so these shoes will withstand the trials and tribulations of the playground. Completing the outsole are flex grooves that assist with grip and form a solid base to push from. The grooves allow the whole of the outsole to naturally flex where the foot flexes to increase comfort as well as performance.
