Engineered Woven Upper

Enhancing the comfort and breathability of your feet, the Novablast 4 have been created with an engineered woven upper. The one-piece upper ensures a constant flow of air enters your shoes, allowing your feet to remain cosy at all times. Not only this, but the addition of perforations in the forefoot ensures that feet won't overheat. The fabric wicks moisture rapidly to prevent feet from getting sweaty and uncomfortable. Not only this but the fabric has additional stretch fibres to provide you with the perfect fit, that moves with the foot as you run. The shoes feature a gusseted tongue construction, with increased stretch and padding than the previous version increasing comfort as you put in the miles. The shoes are reinforced with a supportive heel design to help guide the foot with more control through your gait cycle. Alongside this, a traditional lace-up system keeps your foot locked in and secure, reducing in-shoe slippage from occurring. As part of the LITE-SHOW collection, the Novablast 4 LITE-SHOW feature extensive reflective details to enhance your visibility in low-light conditions.

FF BLAST PLUS ECO Midsole

The midsole of the Novablast 4 has been upgraded from the third edition and has been constructed using FlyteFoam Blast Plus ECO cushioning. This midsole foam provides the perfect balance of lightweight and rebound properties whilst using 20% bio content, making them the better for the planet. These layers of protection, bounce, and comfort provide you with unmatched shock absorption and a trampoline-like ride. Its reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run, so you can train harder, more frequently, for longer without the worry your shoes might not be able to take it. Additionally, the uniquely designed midsole accentuates the FF BLAST PLUS ECO technology and together with the trampoline-inspired outsole, provides responsiveness and energy return to the shoes. Finishing the shoes, ASICS has included a removable sockliner, supplying your feet with an extra layer of cushioning, that has been produced with solution dyeing which reduces water usage, and carbon emissions.

AHAR Outsole

A trampoline-inspired AHAR Rubber Outsole provides twice the abrasion resistance of the traditional outsole rubber, for improved durability without sacrificing properties like traction. Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the AHAR outsole. ASICS' high abrasion rubber is a tough rubber compound used in heavy-contact or high-wear areas helping to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage and protect users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it, the outsole allows you to stay in full control at all times.
