ASICS Fuji Lite 4 Women's Trail Running Shoes
The Fuji Lite 4 Trail Running Shoe is designed to allow extra speed during your run. It's a great choice if you'd like to explore the trails to free your mind. And thanks to its extra lightweight design, nothing will hold you back. The shoe's shock-absorbing FF Blast foam and its engineered mesh upper are lightweight so that you can move with ease on your trail runs. And its ASICSGRIP outsole ensures better grip to allow even faster movement. This shoe is designed with speed in mind, and ASICS have spent hours testing it at their Institute of Sports Science (ISS) in Japan.
Engineered Mesh Upper
The upper of the ASICS Fuji Lite 4 is made with a highly breathable engineered mesh. This is covered with micro-perforations, which allow heat, vapour and moisture to escape the shoe, whilst simultaneously encouraging fresh air to enter and circulate. This delivers a pleasant cooling sensation that leaves feet feeling happy and healthy. A traditional lacing system anchors the shoe to the foot securely for improved stability and control, whilst a smart lace loop allows the wearer to tuck in their laces, so they don't come untied or snag anything when they're running. Reflective details additionally help to improve visibility when training in low-light conditions.
FF Blast Foam Midsole
The Fuji Lite 4 running shoe's energetic underfoot ride comes from its one-piece FlyteFoam Blast midsole. This new foam is softer and bouncier, providing a great feel from footstrike to toe-off. The soft and energetic nature of the midsole increases the underfoot softness, almost enveloping the foot in a plush, supportive wrap. The midsole of the Fuji Lite 4 is made up of multiple compounds to bring you a cushioned and explosive ride from stepping out to stepping in. FlyteFoam Blast is the main cushioning compound used in the Fuji Lite because of its lightweight foam formulation and high energy return. Its lightweight foam construction reduces drag allowing you to run faster for longer whilst the elastomer creates a high energy return for increased bounce and unrivalled toe-offs. Resilient and innovative, FlyteFoam Blast technology lets you run with the feeling that your feet aren't even touching the ground. FlyteFoam is the lightest cushioning material ASICS has ever made, 55% lighter than the industry standard, EVA and it buffers against the ground to protect you from unnecessary stress and fatigue. Its reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run, so you can train harder, more frequently, for longer without the worry your shoes might not be able to take it. A responsive underfoot ride makes the Fuji Lite 4 running shoe feel wispy and fast underfoot, an excellent choice for efficient runners who want to take their training to the next level.
ASICSGRIP Rubber Outsole
The ASICSGRIP outsole rubber offers improved grip on a range of surfaces both wet and dry for fast confident footing. Multi-directional lugs offer unprecedented traction for running up and down hills so nothing can get in the way of you giving your ultimate performance.
The shoe's foam is bio-based, and at least 50% of its primary upper consists of recycled materials. Better for you, better for the environment.
