ASICS Jolt 3 Running Shoes

Designed to help you run or walk more comfortably, the Jolt 3 utilises an injected EVA midsole, and has a solid rubber outsole, keeping you focused on the adventures ahead. Drawing inspiration from ASICS' longstanding GT series, the shoes offer classic styling.

Athletic Mesh Upper

The Jolt 3 upper is constructed of an athletic mesh material that encases each foot in breathable comfort. The mesh works incredibly hard to allow air to fully permeate the entire upper, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air while simultaneously forcing out hot, muggy air. The mesh provides next-to-skin comfort, to reduce distractions and irritation that often occurs on longer runs. Additionally, the upper offers synthetic overlays that wrap around the foot for increased comfort and support. The overlays work with the eyelets to conform around the foot and provide improved structural integrity. The synthetic overlays work alongside an internal heel counter that works incredibly hard to provide a locked-in fit. This innovative technology prevents in-shoe slipping which in turn prevents hot spots, irritation and chafing. Lastly, the upper features a stitch-down reinforcement that increases durability allowing you to turn to these shoes, time and time again.

EVA Midsole

Providing comfort and protection, the midsole protects your feet when pounding unforgiving pavements, while you will also find every step is cushioned and gentle. The full EVA midsole responds to bumps and heavy contacts by instantly absorbing the forces that occur during the heel strike phase meaning small stones, rocks and pressure will get blocked from having a negative impact on the sole of the foot. once the EVA has absorbed the energy and impact forces, it then transfers it to the forefoot of the shoe where it can use that same energy to push you off into your next step, allowing you to run more efficiently and get a better response from your shoes. Finally, an Ortholite sockliner resides underfoot, providing you soft, step-in comfort and added cushioning.

Solid Rubber Outsole

The tough, durable rubber used on the outsole of the shoe is abrasion-resistant which will prevent any damage from occurring over a long period of time exposed to hard ground. The rubber compound offers a higher density of rubber in high-impact areas of the outsole where the most wear occurs throughout the miles, this helps reduce the wear and tear allowing you to run harder and for longer. In addition, the outsole offers multi-directional lugs that are positioned to assist with grip as well as forming a solid base to push from. The grooves allow the whole of the outsole to naturally flex where the foot flexes to increase comfort as well as performance.
