ASICS Gel-Kayano 32 Men's Running Shoes

Introducing the GEL-KAYANO 32 shoe, the pinnacle of support and comfort. Featuring FF Blast foam with even more stack height than their predecessors, for a more balanced experience. The 4D Guidance System provides adaptive stability and keeps you supported during distance training.

Engineered Mesh Upper

The upper has been made with an updated engineered mesh in this iteration to offer a better fit, added stretch, and enhanced breathability. It allows air to flow throughout to keep feet cool and allows them to flex with ease. The traditional lacing system works with the new mesh to provide a secure, locked-in fit, reducing the need for additional overlays. A reinforced tongue wing along the arch also provides additional comfort and support. The knit heel tab makes the shoe easier and more comfortable to put on and take off and reflective details ensure visibility in low light.

FF BLAST PLUS Midsole

The Gel-Kayano 32 features an FF BLAST PLUS midsole for responsive underfoot cushioning. It attenuates shock as you strike down, protecting your joints and muscles, and converts this into rebound, propelling you forward. This means you can run further, faster using less energy. Working alongside this, the shoes have PureGEL technology in the rearfoot, which is lighter in weight and approximately 65% softer than conventional ASICS' GEL technology. This helps to deliver enhanced shock absorption and promotes smooth transition, to reduce injuries and keep you comfortable, stride after stride. The Gel-Kayano 32 uses ASICS' 4D Guidance System, which guides your foot through every step with adaptive on-demand stability. Instead of bracing your feet to restrict movement, the pod system works with your movements, providing stability when and where needed. The 32 has a higher stack height by 2mm in the forefoot, delivering an even more comfortable running experience over long distances. It does all of this whilst shaving off weight, weighing 5g less than the 31. The midsole also integrates 3D SPACE CONSTRUCTION to improve compression at footstrike while catering to the gait differences between runners. Positioned in the forefoot, this feature helps runners engage better with the foam while providing a softer feel underfoot. Atop the midsole, an eco-dyed OrthoLite X55 sockliner provides cushioning performance and moisture management for a cooler, drier environment. The sockliner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology.

Hybrid ASICSGRIP Outsole

Utilising a combination of ASICS' ASICSGRIP and AHARPLUS materials in the right places, the outsoles of the Gel-Kayano 32s provide you with an excellent grip. The shoes have a durable outsole, which provides a soft grip. ASICS' High Abrasion Rubber is a tough rubber compound used in heavy-contact or high-wear areas, helping to reduce excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage and prevent you from losing control and slipping. This excellent compound provides you with grip and traction on multiple surfaces and has been designed with strategically placed lugs, to enhance the grip further. The outsole enhances natural foot flexion for easy, unhindered paces whilst the flex grooves work with the rubber outsole to provide underfoot traction.

The Gel-Kayano 32 has earned the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Seal of Acceptance. This means it was carefully evaluated by a committee of podiatrists - doctors who specialise in treating the foot, ankle, and structures of the leg - to ensure that it promotes good foot health. The committee also assesses safety, quality control, and other data, so you can step into your new shoes with confidence.
