100% of the shoe's upper is recycled. The insole, toe box, eyelet, tongue and collar lining are all made from recycled materials.

FF Blast Plus Midsole

An update on their predecessors, the Noosa Tri 16 utilises a FlyteFoam Blast Plus foam compound to provide you with outstanding underfoot cushioning, and keeps feet exceptionally comfortable. Lighter than standard FF Blast foam, the FF Blast Plus has an impressive 15% better cushioning, alongside 15% more energy return for responsive strides. The compound provides you with a gentle, luxurious landing and delivers unmatched shock absorption to help prevent injuries or discomfort occurring when striking down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces during running or racing. The midsole has outstanding fibres that bounce back to their original shape after impact, providing resilience and exceptional durability over a long period. The shoes have a rocker geometry which works to push you forward, providing you with effortless forward propulsion. Finally, a sockliner provides you with added levels of underfoot comfort and has been produced using a solution dyeing process to reduce water usage and carbon emissions.

ASICSGRIP Outsole

The Noosa Tri 16 features an ASICSGRIP outsole, providing excellent grip and traction across a range of surfaces. This extremely durable compound ensures a long-lasting and reliable companion for every section of your run. Additionally, the outsole has a full-ground contact design to promote a smoother and more efficient ride.

This shoe is designed with speed and comfort in mind, with hours spent testing it at the ASICS Institute of Sport Science (ISS) in Japan.
