ASICS Gel-Blade FF 2 Women's Court Shoes
The Blade FF 2 indoor shoe is a lightweight shoe that helps you move faster. This shoe is updated with a higher heel drop that positions your foot in a start-up position for moving forward more quickly.
Mesh Upper
The upper of the Gel-Blade FF 2 is made from a breathable mesh construction that allows air to flow thanks to micro-perforations in the fabric. The small holes encourage heat and vapour to escape whilst simultaneously allowing fresh air to flow in and circulate. The shoes' no-sew film overlays enhance strength and stability while making them flexible and lightweight. Featuring ASICS' PGUARD technology in the forefoot, the uppers protect your toes from hard knocks and shield the shoes from damage. A raised heel collar height improves stability and keeps the foot from slipping out of the shoe, and the traditional lacing system anchors the shoe to the foot for greater stability and control.
FlyteFoam Midsole
Designed to provide lightweight cushioning, the midsole of the Gel-Blade FF 2 has been constructed with ASICS' FlyteFoam cushioning. To support strides across the court, the midsole is comfortable and responsive, with levels of high energy return for propulsion when under pressure. This soft and energetic foam protects against unnecessary stress and fatigue. Its reinforced fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every stride, so you can play harder, more frequently, for longer without worry that your shoes might not be able to take it. A 15mm heel-to-toe drop is used to help make faster forward transitions. This makes it easier to transition from the baseline to the net more quickly. TPU SPEEDTRUSS technology completes the midsole, increasing jumping force and improving stability, while GEL technology cushioning provides excellent shock absorption to reduce the risk of injury.
Precision Sole Outsole
The outsole of the Blade FF 2 uses a Precision sole design. Using a 3D modelling application to generate a new outsole pattern, ASICS have been able to achieve a balance of flexibility, lightweight, and grip. This has been teamed with X-GUIDANCE technology for improved diagonal court coverage. This function improves flexibility and allows you to move more easily on the court. Grip and control on the court are guaranteed with the durable rubber, forming a solid bond with the court surface. The Gel-Blade FF 2 will keep you firmly in charge as you grip yourself into a solid position.
