ASICS Gel-Cumulus 28 Men's Running Shoes

The Gel-Cumulus 28 shoe is a lightweight running shoe that's designed to provide a smooth underfoot experience.

Engineered Mesh Upper

Providing enhanced breathability and comfort, the upper of the Gel-Cumulus 28 promotes in-shoe freshness for the entirety of your run. Perforations within the upper allow air to circulate effectively around the foot, ensuring heat can escape and helping keep feet fresh. The material also protects the foot from possible snags and reduces the possibility of distractions when racking up the miles. For superb midfoot lockdown, a traditional lacing system has been used, helping to stabilise your foot and keep the fit snug. To complete the upper, reflective details improve your visibility in low light conditions and keep you pushing onwards well into dusk.

FF BLAST MAX Midsole

Adding unbelievable energy and cushioning to your run, the FF BLAST MAX midsole of the Gel Cumulus 28 keeps you moving forward with ease. Designed with a 'cloud-like' feel, the foam blankets your feet in soft comfort through every step, making your run more enjoyable. As you strike down on hard and unforgiving surfaces, shock is absorbed effectively, protecting your joints from possible injury. The absorbed impact is then released within your following strides as powerful energy, helping to propel you forward with force. This has been combined with PureGEL technology for enhanced shock absorption, doubling up on a protective midsole for maximised comfort. PurGEL also aids in creating softer landings and keeping you focused on the path ahead. Sitting atop the midsole is an Ortholite X-30 Sockliner, which completes the plush cushioning while also helping to wick moisture away from the foot, promoting a drier and fresher run.

The sockliner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology.

FLUIDRIDE Outsole

Offering a mix of both comfort and fantastic grip, the FLUIDRIDE outsole is a blend of EVA and rubber for confident strides. Whether running over dry paths or rain-slicked roads, the rubber helps you to stick to the ground. An AHAR LO heel plug rubber has also been added for further grip. This low-density rubber has been strategically focused in key areas for reliable grip, helping you perfect toe-offs and corner with ease.
