Mesh Upper

The upper of the Gel-Resolution X is crafted from a highly breathable mesh; it swathes your feet in comfort, allowing fresh air to flow in for a pleasant cooling sensation whilst simultaneously pushing out heat and vapour. This is topped with robust PGUARD technology, which provides support and durability, helping to provide a locked-in feel whilst also protecting the shoe from wear. DYNALACING technology has been strategically designed to provide a stable, supportive fit during quick transitions, keeping you anchored in the shoe for maximum confidence. Lastly, the higher medial collar helps prevent ankle twisting when making abrupt cuts back and forth.

Two-Piece FF BLAST+ Eco Midsole

The midsole has been built using a two-piece construction to help produce more stable landings, helping you stay in control when it matters most. FF Blast+ Eco is lightweight yet responsive, it provides a springy feel underfoot and utilises the power of your last step to push you into your next one, so you stay fast on the court. This works in combination with forefoot GEL technology, which absorbs impact and attenuates shock as you strike down, keeping your feet protected and ache-free. DYNAWALL technology in the midsole extends into the heel for added stability during lateral movements, helping support you when you're running covering both sides of the baseline. ​An eco-dyed sockliner provides step-in comfort, it is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology.

AHARPLUS Rubber Outsole

The outsole of the Gel-Resolution X is constructed from AHARPLUS rubber for great grip and traction. It adheres to the ground beneath, forming a solid bond that you can push off with ease. The separated outsole pattern allows you to stop, turn and pivot for all those game-making shots. As an added benefit, the outsole is also non-marking, meaning you don't have to worry about marking the court or causing damage.

ASICS have made the shoe's upper with recycled plastic and used bio-based materials for the cushioning. They've also used less water and reduced their carbon emissions while producing the shoe's sock liner. The insole, toe box, eyelet, tongue, and collar lining are all made from recycled materials. Better for you, better for the environment.

This shoe is designed with energy return in mind, and ASICS have spent endless hours testing it at our Institute of Sport Science (ISS) in Japan.
