The GT-1000 14 GS (Grade-School) shoe is a versatile style that's comfortable and durable for active minds.
The upper is crafted from a highly breathable mesh to supply your little child with highly ventilated comfort. It is lightweight and durable, resisting damage for long lasting use and enjoyment, and the traditional lacing system locks in the fit and makes on/off easy. The shoes have been built on a kid's specific last to ensure a comfortable fit.
At least 75% of the shoe's main upper material is made with recycled content to reduce waste and carbon emissions.
The midsole has been crafted from a shock attenuating material to ensure comfort and protection. It shields joints from impact and creates a bouncy feel that keeps young feet feeling fresh. This is combined with rearfoot GEL technology which further increases the plush feel and maximises comfort. Atop this midsole, an eco-dyed sockliner provides cushioning performance and moisture management for a cooler, dryer environment.
The sockliner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology.
The outsole is made from a durable and sticky rubber that provides long lasting grip and traction, allowing your child to really let loose. The outsole wraps up the shoe, working alongside a rubber toe stitch to supply a durable ride that is ready to tackle any knocks and scrapes out on the road.
