ASICS SONICBLAST 2 Men's Running Shoes

The SONICBLAST 2 offers a lighter, more energetic ride than the previous model, making it functional for tempo runs and daily training. The midsole features a two-layered foam with FF BLAST MAX cushioning, FF TURBO SQUARED cushioning, and an FF TURBO SQUARED trampoline pod, creating a lightweight and bouncy running experience with advanced impact absorption.

Engineered Mesh Upper

Offering superior levels of breathability and comfort, the ASICS SONICBLAST 2 is crafted from an engineered mesh upper. Perforations in the upper material encourage cool air to circulate through the shoes, providing constant fresh air and ventilation, regulating temperature for a perfect microclimate your feet can thrive in. This lightweight, breathable mesh reduces the need for additional overlays, minimising bulk for a clean and streamlined silhouette. Completing the upper, a traditional lacing system locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe movement, providing an easily adjusted, secure fit that's customised to suit you.

FF BLAST MAX and FF TURBO² Midsole

Using a combination of ASICS' two most responsive foams, the SONICBLAST 2 provides a faster, snappier ride than ever before. The two foams featured are FF BLAST MAX and FF TURBO², and the combination ensures lightweight rebound and advanced cushioning from the moment you slip them on. FF BLAST MAX is one of ASICS' most energetic midsole foams; it offers cloud-like softness and responsive energy return to keep you feeling fresher for longer, no matter the distance you run or how gruelling your training session may be. This has been combined with FF TURBO² cushioning, the pinnacle FF TURBO foam, an exceptionally bouncy and energetic midsole material with added resilience. This midsole foam provides the ultimate cushioning and rebound for your run. The foams work together to absorb impact as you strike hard, unforgiving surfaces, helping protect your joints and preventing injury. The midsole features ASTROPLATE technology, a Pebax plate, which balances propulsion with flexibility, encouraging you to go faster with each stride. In the forefoot, ASICS has included a FF TURBO² trampoline pod to amplify the bounce experience, pushing forward as you strive for your best times yet.

ASICSGRIP Rubber Outsole

Outstanding grip and traction are guaranteed with the ASICSGRIP outsole. The rubber forms a solid bond on surfaces beneath you for complete control in all conditions and on a variety of terrain. Additionally, the rubber is extremely tough and abrasion-resistant, maintaining its shape and definition for a long-lasting training partner.
