Overlays wrap the midfoot to provide support and a firm fit; reducing in-shoe slippage for a smooth, distraction-free ride. A removable Ortholite sockliner supplies additional underfoot comfort, cradling you in moisture-wicking ease to keep your feet dry and you motivated.

FuzeGEL Midsole

ComforDry Lasting lies atop a lightweight midsole, implemented to supply an extra layer of plush and hygienic underfoot comfort. This premium product features higher rebound properties but also provides excellent moisture-management and a high level of breathability; so you stay damp-free and comfortable on hot, longer distance days. A low profile FuzeGEL platform runs through the entire length of the shoe without adding weight. This clever fusion of GEL technology and foam creates adaptable comfort; tuned to provide rearfoot shock absorption that shifts to forefoot bounce-back. So your joints are protected at heel-strike and your stride is energised at toe-off. Beneath this proprietary midsole blend, Asics have placed a Rearfoot GEL Cushioning System; situated underneath the heel to supplement shock absorption as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces.

AHAR Outsole

An AHAR (Asics High Abrasion Rubber) outsole completes the Fuze X Lyte 2. Placed in critical areas, the durable compound supplies sticky grip on wet and dry road surfaces.
