Breathable Upper

An updated upper makes the most of new technologies developed by Asics. The seamless design of it makes it feel comfortable as it sits on the foot. The breathable material also allows a steady airflow in and out of the shoe, ventilating it to make the feet feel cool and fresh. Thicker material coverage over the toes and around the heel ensure that vulnerable areas are protected from heavier impacts. The laces run up the foot, and a padded tongue ensure that you will always have a comfortable and secure fit. Within the shoe, there is an Ortholite insole. FlyteFoam Outsole

Offering excellent stability and comfort, the FlyteFoam midsole uses a lightweight technology that improves performance. Fifty-five percent lighter than the industry standard, the midsole is also incredibly durable and will last for mile after mile. The top layer of the midsole contains SpEva foam. This will improve bounce back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown when running. As well as this there is SpEVA lasting. This further increases the comfort, but also increases the longevity of the shoe by making it more durable. For better propulsion, the shoe has the Trusstic system. This links the rearfoot to the forefoot, offering spring and stability. Visible rearfoot gel offers further protection to the heel, which takes the full force of the impact on each step.

AHAR Outsole

Supreme grip and traction is guaranteed with the AHAR outsole. Asics' high abrasion rubber is a tough rubber compound used at the heavy-contact, which helps to cut down on excessive wear. As well as this it can create a strong bond with any ground beneath it, helping you stay in full control. Over the heel there is a plug, where the material is thicker and ultimately tougher, which is a particularly vulnerable area as it is in constantly facing heavy impacts from the ground. A guidance line which runs the length of the outsole means that energy is dispersed evenly when stretched, increasing stability.
