ASICS GEL-Nimbus 21 Lite-Show Women's Running Shoes

The ASICS GEL-Nimbus 21 Lite-Show running shoes for women helps runners push their run further. Flytefoam propel provides the ultimate energetic feel that helps propel the wearer forwards, while re-engineered mesh, a spacious toe-box and a lateral full contact outsole give a smoother, more stable ride from heel strike to toe-off.

2-Layer Jacquard Mesh Upper

2-Layer jacquard mesh uppers will encase each foot in breathable comfort. The perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. The 2 layers of the mesh allow you to have a super soft, moisture management layer next to the foot to enhance in-shoe and next to skin comfort while the outer layer is more durable to prevent scuffs from ripping the material. In addition, the 2-layers add another benefit as they rub together when you move which in turn prevents the material rubbing against the skin, dramatically reducing chafing and skin irritation.

In addition, overlays are added to the construction to provide smooth support without adding weight and bulk. The upper is tightened and loosened in certain areas to allow for the foot's natural motion, working with you as you train for everything from morning runs to challenging marathons. The asymmetrical lacing system unites with an exoskeletal heel counter to guarantee perfect comfort and fit, especially in the ankle and heel area; they help to anchor you to the midsole and reduce in-shoe slippage so that you can enjoy smooth distraction-free strides. An updated toe box yields increased flexibility and provide more space, allowing for comfortable toe splay and a more efficient push-off. Independently placed eyelets disperse lace tension, contributing to the comfortable and customised fitting environment of the Gel-Nimbus 21. Lastly, the upper provides you with an ortholite collar sponge that increases comfort to the next level around the ankle and as well as aids moisture management even further.

Flytefoam Midsole

A moulded EVA sockliner cradles the foot with breathable, moisture-wicking ease, preventing that the development of that distracting clammy feeling to keep you cool and motivated on longer distance days. Situated in the midsole and complementing the midsoles bouncy nature, are the rearfoot and forefoot GEL-cushioning systems. They work to reduce shock during the impact phase; sparing your joints as you land on unforgiving surfaces and allowing for a smooth transition to mid-stance.

ASICS play their ace card with two layers of flytefoam that work together to provide the perfect balance of lightweight and rebound properties. These layers of protection, bounce and comfort provide you with unmatched shock absorption and a lively ride. Flytefoam is the lightest cushioning material ASICS has ever made, 55% lighter than the industry standard midsole compounds and it buffers against the ground to protect you from unnecessary stress and fatigue. Flytefoam Lyte sits as a bottom layer cushioning to provide lightweight shock absorption while Flytefoam propel is situated just above it for excellent rebound and snap back properties. This unique compound takes the energy created from heel striking and transfers it to this layer where it can be used to catapult you off into your next step. Flytefoams reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run; so you can train harder, more frequently, for longer, without the worry that your shoes might not be able to take it. Resilient and winning, Flytefoam Lyte and Flytefoam Propel technology lets you run with the feeling that your feet aren't even touching the ground.
