Mesh Upper
The Gel Cyber Power is constructed with a mesh upper which helps to ensure airflow throughout the shoe, for a comfortable and dry foot environment. Asics' Flexion Fit can be found on top of the mesh which is engineered to make the shoe more comfortable through a form-fitting upper. This proprietary technology provides superior support, as well as responding to your every move, perfect for quick cuts and explosive movements. Located on the inside of the shoe is PGuard which is a highly durable rubber/resin compound that offers impact protection and abrasion resistance. For instant step-in comfort, the Cyber Power is equipped with Asics' P.H.F (Personalised Heel Fit) which utilises two layers of memory foam in the heel collar which combine to mould to the wearer's foot, creating a truly personalised feel and fit. For additional comfort, the shoe features a padded tongue and heel which reduces the risk of irritation and chafing, for all-day comfort.
SpEVA Midsole
A perforated insole can be found in the midsole which helps to regulate the temperature inside the shoe, for a cool and comfortable feel. The midsole combines different technologies to ensure every step is as comfortable as the first. Firstly, SpEVA is a material that improves bounce-back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown, perfect for indoor court activities. Additionally, GEL can be found in the rearfoot which uses a silicone-based cushioning system to provide a lower shock when the heel impacts on the ground, offering excellent cushioning properties.
AHAR+ Outsole
The sole of the shoe is constructed with AHAR (Asics High Abrasion Rubber) which is a tough rubber compound used in heavy contact areas as it boasts high abrasion resistant properties, making them useful for long-term use. The multi-contact edge around the base of the shoe helps with durability, while the pivot points ensure quick and easy foot transitions.
