Circular Knit Upper

Circular-knit uppers will swathe you in breathable comfort. Ensuring lightweight support, the upper adapts to the changing shape of your foot as you move through the gait cycle; supplying you with an abundance of comfort and structure. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow creating a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. Supplying flexible support, the knit works to increase ventilation and eradicate the build-up of sweat which is unavoidable during exercise. Sweat and moisture are wicked away from the feet leaving you feeling fresh and ready to clock up the miles in extreme comfort. The upper is thin, lightweight, soft and sits close to your foot, but it still provides a secure and substantial feel for wear all day, all year, almost anywhere. A MetaClutch external heel counter provides an optimum fit and increased support for the lower ankle; by locking in the heel, the MetaClutch reduces in shoe slippage for a smooth, distraction-free ride. Lastly, a traditional lacing system cradles the midfoot for a locked-down fit.

FlyteFoam Midsole

FlyteFoam is the lightest cushioning material ASICS has ever made, 55% lighter than the industry standard, EVA and it buffers against the ground to protect you from unnecessary stress and fatigue. Its reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run, so you can train harder, more frequently, for longer without the worry your shoes might not be able to take it. A full-length FlyteFoam Propel platform is designed to provide enhanced responsiveness at toe-off; increased energy return means your use of superfluous muscle power is reduced and performance is enhanced. FlyteFoam Propel technology lets you run with the feeling that your feet aren't even touching the ground. Embedded within the midsole platform, and complementing its bouncy nature, the Rearfoot and GEL Cushioning Systems work to reduce shock during the impact phase, sparing your joints as you sprint down onto hard, unforgiving concrete, and allowing for a smooth transition to mid-stance. Completing the midsole is a 3D Guidance Line which follows the natural progression of the foot from impact to toe-off to encourage a more consistent running stride. Working to enhance gait efficiency, guidance line technology helps to move the foot forward in a natural, transition.
