Breathable Upper

The mesh surrounding the upper of the shoe will allow a steady airflow in and out of the shoe, which will mean that warm air that builds up in the shoe can escape easily. This will be replaced by cooler air from outside, keeping the feet ventilated throughout the game. Moisture from sweat can escape out of the shoe through the small gaps in the upper, which will then be wicked away by the shoe. Covering the toes, the material in the upper is thicker, which will protect the forefoot from any bumps and shocks from the ground. In addition, the heel is held in a firm and upright position as the walls are especially strong. This will reduce the risk of it slipping or rolling out of position and causing an injury. Up the foot laces and a padded tongue will make it easy to find a secure yet comfortable position every time.

FlyteFoam Midsole

The shoe boasts using ASICS' developed FlyteFoam in the midsole. Providing the same cushioning and protective benefits as standard midsoles, FlyteFoam is around 55% lighter than others, which will reduce the overall weight of the shoe, allowing you to cover the volleyball court at lightning speed. The EVA at the bottom of the shoe is able to absorb impacts instantly, which is particularly beneficial for when you jump or make sudden changes of direction, as the impact won't cause any discomfort to the sole of the foot. As well as this, the EVA higher up the midsole is more cushioned and soft, which will increase comfort. Specially placed gel covering the rear and forefoot means high impact areas have more cushioning and protection. Energy absorbed from heavy contact with the ground is then transferred into rebound and bounce back, which will give you an added spring in your step. This is due to the midsole using SpEVA 55, which improves rebound by 20%. Within the shoe, a moulded sockliner will provide next to skin comfort as well as a personalised fit. The heel will also feel comfortable, as the shoe uses a personalised heel fit which moulds to the shape of your individual foot.

Octopod Outsole

Grip and traction on the volleyball court is guaranteed with the Octopod outsole used on the shoe. This newly designed innovative outsole design is specifically designed for courts, and it features a range of strategically placed suction cups which will form a solid bond the ground. This will mean that you will be able to run, jump and stop without worrying about slipping on the ground. Down the centre of the sole, the shoe has Propulsion Trusstic.
