Mesh Upper with GORE-TEX Membrane

Providing enhanced breathability and comfort, the upper of the VC26 promotes in-shoe freshness for the entirety of your ativities. Perforations within the upper allow for air to circulate effectively around the foot, allowing for heat to escape out and make room for cooling freshness. The material also protects the foot from possible snags and reduces the possibility of distractions when covering ever changing terrains. The shoe is lined with a GORE-TEX membrane that prevents water from penetrating, ensuring you stay dry and comfortable throughout your wear. While keeping the elements out, your feet are thermoregulated to prevent overheating through the longest wears. The low-cut ankle of the shoe ensures flexibility to move easily on uneven and changing terrains and is complemented by the traditional lacing system that effectively locks the midfoot into place.

EVA Midsole

For superb underfoot cushioning, an EVA foam feature is within the midsole of the VC26, resting your feet on a soft bed. The foam dissipates impact from hard surfaces below for long-term use and is complemented by the Ortholite footbed that sits on top of the midsole, further enhancing comfort through added cushioning for plush wear. For additional protection for your underfoot from sharp rocks and better stability on uneven surfaces, a TPU shank has been added to the design to boost your confidence.

Vibram Outsole

Utilising Vibram rubber, the VC26 outsole has enhanced grip and traction over a variety of surfaces for high confidence in every step. This high-performance rubber provides you with grip on both wet and dry surfaces, durability, and ground adaptability. With Berghaus' OPTI-STUD anti-clogging technology, mud doesn't get stuck within the lugs, maximising your grip and traction for prolonged periods of time without worrying about losing your footing.
