EnduroKnit Upper

Engineered for precision, the Black Diamond Technician Approach Shoes have been constructed using an EnduroKnit upper. The one-piece breathable, durable knit upper ensures superior temperature control whilst remaining ultra-durable for sustained abuse on the rocks. The upper allows cool air to flow throughout the upper whilst, at the same time allowing humid humid air to escape. The increase in airflow creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in and prevents a build-up of uncomfortable heat. As well as this, the EnduroKnit upper is also highly durable meaning it withstands the risks of wear and tear to give you complete confidence on the trails. The lightweight half-bootie tongue allows for easy on and off at the crag plus, a moulded TPU midfoot strap locks down the midfoot for added structure and support. A rubber toe keeps the toes protected from abuse whilst webbing loops allow for various tagging options. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

Tuned EVA Midsole

The midsole has been constructed using a tuned EVA which ensures stiffness and comfort for all-day wear. The EVA protects your foot from the impact, collisions, and stress that it can endure during long adventures outdoors. . Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsole ensures you're ready for the unpredictable trails and tough terrain.

Designed to provide traction and grip on outdoor adventures, the Black Diamond Technician Approach Shoes have been constructed using a BlackLabel-Mountain Rubber Outsole. This high-performance sticky rubber ensures unbeatable grip and friction on technical terrain.The outsole provides grip and traction to any terrain, it sticks to all surfaces whether they are wet or dry so you can get up and go whatever the weather. Despite facing abuse from rough ground, the rubber stands up against this, deflecting the blows and retaining a strong shape and structure. This will mean that the definition and the functionality of the outsole will remain strong over a long period of time.
