Breathable Mesh Upper

Brooks have incorporated breathable mesh into the construction of the Mazama trail shoe. The breathable mesh encourages cool air to circulate, creating a drier, healthier environment for your feet to thrive. Additionally, the mesh actively and efficiently wicks away the build-up of excess sweat and moisture to leave you cool, dry and comfortable as you strive for the best results and performance. Furthermore, the mesh offers stretch to provide a full, unrestricted range of motion in all directions an allow optimal comfort for your feet while you run plus it drains quickly which is ideal when moving fast over muddy trails. Protective details are located on the upper to help tackle abrasion, debris and sharp objects you may typically encounter while trail running. As well as this, a 3D Rubber Print applies strategic stretch and structure for an impeccable fit, enhancing protection and durability in high-abrasion zones. Completing the upper is lacing system which locks down the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides; a lace garage keeps laces secure, clean, and out of the way.

DNA Midsole

Equipped with the Brooks DNA midsole which is an innovative and uniquely adaptive cushioning system. By adapting to your specific weight, pace, gait and running surface, DNA offers customised cushioning and adds a spring to your step. Brooks DNA midsole has been developed to continuously tailor the level of cushioning to your specific needs- even as they change during the run. Also featuring BioMoGo Dna which is DNA technology blended with the BioMoGo midsole to provide adaptive cushioning throughout the midsole vs. just in the heel and forefoot. BioMoGo DNA midsole insides an organic, non-toxic additive that biodegrades the midsole 50 times faster than traditional EVA when it comes into contact with anaerobic landfill microbes.

Sticky Rubber Outsole

Sticky rubber comprises the outsole to ensure optimal grip and traction, even on the difficult and the unpredictable terrain encountered when trail running. Having the reinforced grip and traction will provide the wearer with confidence, knowing they have a firm, assured footing as they push themselves to the limit. The rubber is highly durable and long-lasting, allowing the Mazama to become a reliable addition to your trail running collection. Strategically placed flex grooves are situated throughout the outsole for flexibility and an enhanced range of motion, to maximise movement in accordance with the durable rubber for heightened grip. The directional lugs are ideal for both uphill and downhill traction.
