Designed to help you tap into that punchy, speedy feeling, the Brooks Hyperion 2 deliver a more light, responsive cushion than before for more softness underfoot. The streamlined fit and breathable mesh upper work with the cushioning to offer a versatile, performance-ready shoe.
Supplying feet with exceptional comfort and breathability, the Hyperion 2 utilises an engineered mesh upper. The mesh circulates cool air, creating a drier, healthier environment for your feet to thrive. Additionally, the upper promotes efficient moisture management by actively and efficiently wicking away the build-up of excess sweat and moisture to leave you feeling cool, dry, and comfortable as you strive for the best results and performance. The material used in the upper wraps around your foot, ensuring a full, unrestricted range of motion while the flat-laying tongue reduces irritation caused by rubbing and chafing to enhance comfort. Lastly, the traditional lacing system locks down the midfoot for a secure and stable ride.
Featuring Brooks' updated nitrogen-infused DNA FLASH v2 midsole, the Hyperion 2 has a new formulation that is lighter than before whilst remaining durable. With improved responsiveness and a 4mm increase in cushioning in both the heel and forefoot, this update encourages quick turnover and fine-tuned layers of cushioning effectively absorb impact to spare joints as you strike down on unforgiving surfaces. This updated lighter and springier cushioning helps you to feel fresh, even late in the race, and delivers nearly 10% more energy return than previous versions.
Constructed using a durable rubber, the Brooks Hyperion 2 outsole is extremely durable and will provide exceptional grip, traction, and anti-abrasion protection. This means that you will be able to run on a wide range of different surfaces without worrying about the shape and definition of the outsole being damaged. The rubber can form a solid connection with the ground, which will keep you in firm control with a strong grip and traction.
